The US U-17 side took the lead and never fell behind in a convincing 4-2 victory over Korea Republic. Courtney Verloo scored twice, while Kristie Mewis and Vicki DiMartino added one each.

The US side gave the more than 7,000 fans in attendance quite a show, but allowing two goals proves room is left for improvement. They will face Germany in the semifinals; a side that has allowed only four goals in four games.
